The Construction

A floating canvas chest piece, hand-padded lapels, a sleeve set with a touch of forward pitch so the arm hangs naturally at your side. Working surgeon's cuffs, because you will want to roll them. A lining chosen from a book of silks — burgundy, paisley, a subtle Glen check — because the inside of a jacket is where a man keeps his secrets.

The buttonholes are hand-stitched. The edges are pressed soft, not sharp, so the jacket does not look like it was made by a machine. The pockets sit just so. The length is right for your proportions, not the proportions of a mannequin.
