Welcome to John Bradley Custom Clothier. My name is Brad Otto. I'm a personal clothier specializing in men's bespoke suits and shirts right here in Southern California.
I did not start this business to build a retail empire. I started it because I saw what was missing in men's fashion: the relationship. The trust. The clothier who knows your name, your measurements, and the way you like to dress — and who is still there five years later when you need a new tuxedo for your daughter's wedding.
The First Swatch
I remember the first time I held a swatch of Loro Piana's summer wool. It was in a mill in Biella, in the Piedmont hills of Italy, where they have been weaving since the 1600s.
The cloth was so light it seemed to float, yet it held a crease like iron. I thought: this is what a man deserves to wear. Not something pulled off a rack under fluorescent lights. Something chosen deliberately, cut to his body, built to last.

The Consultation
During your appointment, you and I will discuss your goals and vision for your new clothing, along with your likes and dislikes, fit preferences, and the occasions you dress for.
Once we have selected that unique fabric, I will take over thirty measurements for your suits and ten for your shirts to create a pattern that exists for no one else on earth. Every detail — the lapel width, the button stance, the lining, the monogram — is yours to choose.

For over twenty years, I've served as a private clothier to Southern California's most accomplished professionals — attorneys, executives, physicians, entrepreneurs. Based in Orange County, I travel to clients across Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Coto de Caza, Ladera Ranch, and San Diego.
My approach is entirely mobile and private. No store. No parking. No fluorescent lights. Just a conversation, a measuring tape, and a commitment to getting it right.
I have built my business one client at a time, one garment at a time, one relationship at a time. The men I dress are not just customers. They are people I have come to know — their careers, their families, the events that matter to them.
